Think I've posted this on every Early, Afternoon, Evening, Happy, Sad music thread I've joined in on. Can't get enough - have to listen to it everyday. (If anybody likes her style of sax playing, search for Candy Dulfer Live at Leverkusen 2009 - awesome).
JJ - Just anything by Candy D will do me - but especially live.
Just listened to your track. Never heard of Caro before (she's errr a well well-built lass, isn't she?) but really enjoyed it - will go and look for more.
Madeleine Peyroux ... a great version of Shimmy Like My Sister Kate, from the Montreux Jazz Festival ... and this is not just because Montreux is one of mine and the BF's favourite weekend shag hideaways, lol ...
Carl Emerald, Captain. Very jolly. We saw her at Shepherd's Bush, and she was fantastic. She's playing in the UK again this year, but at the Royal Festival Hall. I haven't bought tickets, because I think that's just the wrong venue for that sort of music. You need to be able to stand in front of the stage with a vodka and tonic, and dance.
