I'm hoping to get a few new ideas. I have a few jazz CDs, and I go to a place here called The Verdict, an underground jazz cafe, but I don't really know that much about it. I'm trying.

I have two jazz CDs. Chill Factor by Richard Elliot and Fingerprints by Larry Carlton. I bought them when my local soul radio station became a jazz station and I thought I might get into jazz. I didn`t.

There's so much jazz in our local pubs and bars, you have to be into it to some extent.

This youngster, Alexander Bone, is worth following. He is a multi musician of jazz & won this years BBC Young Jazz musician of the year.

Those guys in the Brighton clip are in the square on East Street, outside a pub called The Sussex. There's music there almost all the time.
