Great Evening

Went to the cinema last night to see Andre Rieu's 10th Anniversary concert from Maastricht. 3 hours sheer joy. Wondering if I could afford to go there next year to see it live - the atmosphere must be electric.

I saw him when he was in Birmingham 2years ago absolutely fantastic . Could have sat there forever .

I've only ever seen him on the telly. He is good isn't he.

I'm going to see him live at the Hydro, Glasgow on 22nd December. Will be fabulous I know, but still not Maastricht!

Andre Rieu isn't a favourite of mine but I think the atmosphere at a live concert would be great maggiebee. I really wanted to see Ennio Morricone's open air Concert in Vienna a few years ago, but I couldn't afford to go and OH isn't such a great fan, but I enjoyed every minute of it on TV.

There are quite often offers in the weekend papers for trips to Maastricht to see Andre Rieu, Maggie you could keep an eye out for one or if I spot one I'll let you know. The prices for a hotel and tickets don't seem too bad.

Maggie, we also went on Saturday evening at our local cinema, to the live satellite link up. I totally agree, it was the best evening we have had in years! What a wonderful character he is, full of energy for a man in his 60s. The little 9 year old dutch girl who won Holland's Got Talent was just amazing.

I agree with Wendilla, we could have sat through the whole concert again. Cant wait until it's posted on YouTube or out on DVD. I'm thinking of treating Hubby to the concert in Nottingham in December.
