New Bt Infinity Connection
5 Answers
I have a friend who is having Infinity installed shortly, not having had Broadband previously. BT undertakes to connect to one device in the house initially. Is there any issue in having that connection made to an I Pad rather than her laptop? Thanks.

You can plug any PC device directly into your Router, or you can connect by wifi. My trusty old desktop doesn't have a wifi card, and its on a different floor to the router. So purchased a wireless Nano USB adapter :::

This has to be the bargain of the century ! It effectively gives my desktop exactly the same connecting ability, as if it had a wifi card, or if I had moved it downstairs and connected it with a cable directly to the Router. I get download speeds of about 38 mega pixies on any device I use the Router for, whether its connected by cable or by wifi. My DEsktop doesn't seem to working any slower therefore.
Jst connect your Ipad or anything else by wifi in the normal way, and you won't go wrong !
