Up again with the lark after some weird dreams and early morning thought processes forced me to wake, then eventually get up at 3.15am....
Since we got burgled in march this year i cannot sleep properly, and now that i am out of work too, my anxiety seems to be through the roof. Och i will get better again, just this early morning thing really takes its toll. Hubby still sleeping, doggy came through to see me and is snuggled up here next to me which is nice. Love dogs when they sense you need them and follow you around on their own accord. Animals are lovely eh.
Who knows i may even manage to go back to bed for a wee schnoozel again before daylight starts to creep through the curtains...we can wish!!!!!

Hope you get back to your usual sleeping pattern soon. My place was burgled about thirty years ago, I was a bachelor living alone at the time. What made it scary was I was sleeping whilst they took nearly everything I owned that was of value, which meant not much ;-/.
I'm sure the other regulars (Early birds) will be along soon.
Hope you have a good day.

Morning frilly. xxx Sorry to see that my lovely. Not at all good. Burglary is very traumatic for the victims. The authorities don't seem to realise just how much. They would soon do something about it if it happened to them.
Strangers in your home, going through your most personal possessions and stealing whatever takes their fancy. To my mind,a first burglary should carry an automatic sentence of 5 years without parole, a second offence 19 years, any more life.
It's a life changing offence for the victims. A friend of mine was burgled about 20 years ago, she, like you, was traumatised to think that some scumbag had been through her private and personal possessions. she threw out all her underwear as she couldn't bear the thought that some toe rag had handled it. The same with most of her clothes. Some items were taken that were very dear to her and were irreplaceable. She moved house and moved to another part of the country, but still finds it difficult to sleep and doesn't like to be indoors alone even now. It's not a 'minor' crime.
