that headline's a bit harsh, tonyav - remembering her only as the widow of someone who died 20 years ago. The story's got more slightly more about her own career, though not much.

Yes I know, jno. But in my neck of the woods Billy Wright is / was a big name and also the Express and Star is Wolverhampton based ( or biased ! ).

Probably because they were so used to wearing identical outfits on stage at that time, maggie.

My uncle was the agent who sold them the three pink cadillacs
( which is the basis of the Sheila' wheels advert )

the third one was his wife's - he rang her up and said - bring back your car now, I've just sold it !
