I have been given an orchid from M&S no name just orchid. It is in a transparent pot and then in a ceramic one. I always understood that orchids should have their roots in the light so should I take it out of the ceramic pot please.

Mine came in a big metal pot and I left it there - it lasted for 6 years in that pot, flowering every year...
