All Those Years, I Had It Wrong...

Heard a song on the radio on the drive back tonight, I happily sung along with it and thought to myself, yep....'Its Only Make believe' probably one of Elvis's best ever songs.
When the record finished, the DJ announced it was Conway Twitty, someone I have only vaguely heard of from the late 1950's, so I was a bit stunned.

After all that I'm sure Elvis did record it, is that right ? help me out.
