My friend was telling me how she went to a funeral and one of the songs played was 'O Happy Day!!!!'

Last year went to a celebration of life and 'Always look on the bright side of life' was played as he went into the cremation tunnel thingy. He specifically asked for that to be played

Don't think there's anything wrong with "O Happy Day" at a funeral. Listen to the words. Music at a funeral is usually a very personal choice. I want Queen's "Who Wants to Live Forever" at mine.

my friend arranged a funeral, got the deceased's cassette of favourite songs and asked the crematorium staff to play one. To his horror, it was Smoke Gets in Your Eyes.
