Nephew drew up at my neighbour's house to price a job - she flooded etc.

He came over to say hello and good bye - he had his son aged 6 - hateful brat - anyway he refused to come into house and started screaming Noooo in the middle of the street - got into the van as nephew was reversing etc I am at the door waving goodbye - brat closed his eyes the whole time.

Am so hurt that when they come here I make a fuss of them - 2 sons are brats - nephew is lovely. Yeah and it is ok when it comes to Xmas - am lost for words actually

No there is nothing wrong with them just totally spoilt and nephew thinks the sun and moon and stars shines out of their a$ses.

It is very hurtful JJ. They are still very young, spoilt as you say and think the world revolves around them. Don't take it personally. Hopefully he might grow out of it.
children are children....they do what they do. no point being hurt.
I'd take a step back Conne and stop being so generous... you spend your money on yourself..enjoy it and use it to make yourself happy and comfortable... ps.. there's a lovely diamond necklace in COSTCO I rather like, only £35 k ! lol xx

woof - it is hard to take
Question Author
I only do it because of the nephew really - not for any love of the brats.
Question Author
nah - you don't need any more jewellery murray. I'm sure you have loads
JJ. Children can be little bra*s, take no notice, your nephew visited that's what's important .
I don't expect other people's kids to like me any more than I expect other people's dogs to like me....
Jenny...then just ignore the brats then.....why not ?
Question Author
kids and dogs are different methinks
JJ....that scenario is now par for the course......one sees badly behaved children with parents and even grandparents, totally uncontrollable in the shops streets, airports.....and so on.
I just ignore them (if possible) even my own grandchildren.
I think woofy is right.....some do grow out of it.
A good thrashing is required but instead they are put on the "naughty stool".....whatever that is or is supposed to do.
Dogs give unconditional love. But kids rarely do these days, in my experience.
Question Author
i needed that like a hole in the head as I am suffering overwhelmingly with so much pain - that's added to the stress. I know I'm mad but that's the way I am.

I just adore kids with manners - there are about 6 kids in the street who have them and I love them.
Question Author
Am feeling a little better with your postings.
Question Author
I think that's what's wrong with me - I am thinking God he so not likes me.
not worth getting upset over Jenny..good manners are..alas..a thing of the past in many children I fear....
Question Author
right
If you want to spend some dosh, how about one of these then, coming to auction....
I'd ask your nephew only to call when his son isn't with him, the bad feeling seems to be mutual between you and the young lad.
Question Author
thanks for your post mamy - but truly nothing to do with bad feelings etc - he hardly knows me - nephew will be working on the opposite house for a couple weeks - kid won't be with him. Do think nephew should have said - "stop that carryon etc"
