Yes, great song. i remember some boyband (Dead End Kids? ) did what sounded to me a reasonable version in 1975/76 but it didn't have the exciting rawness of the original and despite an appearance on TOTP and lots of photos in teenybop mags it didn't quite trouble the top 30
I didn't like it when it came out and I don't like it now. Bump, bump, bump, bump...

Sorry.
40 odd years haven't improved it.
I love this track, I can't imagine what a stir it made when it was released. It's vibrant.
I didn't like it when it came out and I don't like it now. Bump, bump, bump, bump...

This is why the Bump, bump, bump, bump..., Yilly.

Conspicuous in "Have I the Right?" is the prominence of the drums, whose effect was enhanced by members of the group stamping their feet on the wooden stairs to the studio. Meek recorded the effect with five microphones he had fixed to the banisters with bicycle clips.[1] For the finishing touch someone beat a tambourine directly onto a microphone. The recording was also somewhat speeded up.[10]

Honey let's her drumsticks talk at just after seven minutes in this clip. Have I the right is of its time, it's endured to me anyway.
Very very good, Mamya.
doubt that she'll ever wear beige.
btw, I know they aren't the originals in my clip.
I still don't like it! :-)
