I noticed they has a record out last month. Are they still going? Just how many records have they made and have they achieved that rare feat of having hit records in the 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s?

--- but not with a hit to promote as such. They've become a band that does LPs full of covers, to the dismay of many of their older, loyal fans. The last hit I'm aware of was The Way It Goes which reached 39 in 1999. Nothing yet in the naughties.
Quo had their first hit in 1968 - 'Pictures of Matchstick Men' reached No7. Hippy wibbling, if you ask me, but it put them on the road to fame and fortune. Their official website lists 79 single releases (including 55 hits and 22 that made the top ten) including such seminal denim-rippers as Caroline, Down Down, Rockin' All Over The World and Whatever You Want. And 31 hit albums - more than any band except the Stones. They've even performed in the Norwegian Big Brother house. Oh, and Rick and Francis switched on Blackpool illuminations in 1993.
