Way back my dad had a LP Record of Steam Train sounds which I am now looking for. One of the tracks I particularly remember was of the Moors ( Yorkshire mayby). A cold frosty night, a train whistle sounds in the distance of an approaching express & disturbs a Moorhen who takes wing. If any A/Ber has this & can give me the LP title I would be mightely obliged. Make an old man happy.

mushroom25. Thanks for your input, however I cannot open link.

Do US trains sound different from UK trains?

My dad was a steam train fireman then 'promoted' to a driver. He started in 1949.
