Hi been trying for weeks to understand what i need and how to create my own karaoke tracks and put on disc.Do i need special discs, how to get the lyrics on screen once i remove the vocals from the song etc... I did the first step with Audacity by trying to remove vocals but i could not get it right. The track sounded terrible even after following a guide. Does anyone have any suggestions that are clear and easy to understand? I not silly but this is driving me nuts. Thanks in advance

I wouldn't bother trying to remove vocals that's really hard to do well at least- just grab them and burn them from Youtube instead.

Thanks for all your answers. I have considered buying one or getting an online service to do it for me but i cannot find the tracks i want, even on the online ones that do it for you. It is going to be a personal one for someone who sings karaoke. I will give all your links a look at. Thank you

As i already have the karaoke video with lyrics already on screen from you tube, can i use nero to burn as dvd? Will it play on a karaoke machine?
Thanks
It would depend on what format your Karaoke Machine plays- you'd have to find out, but essentially you are playing a video file, so could always convert it to suit your Karaoke machine I think. x
