I've long been moved by the brilliance and emotion in the scores of Ennio Morricone, particularly the Clint Eastwood trilogy, Once upon a time in the West and Once upon a time in America. Have just watched the Untouchables for the umpteenth time, a film greatly enhance by incredible music. Not sure why I hadn't checked before but find this score was also written by Ennio. What an amazing man.
Someone's just given me a copy of Cinema Paradiso because I've never seen it.
Scored by Ennio Morricone.
Really looking forward to that.
I'm a big Tarantino fan, and Morricone got his Oscar for the score of The Hateful Eight. A favourite of mine (not your kind of film though I guess, Pruders) ;o(
