Just heard 2 more years by Bloc party (well I do live in New Zealand!) and wondered if the album is any good and similar to the said single? Thank you in advance.

I think the single is a little different from anything else on the album. Perhaps a little more commercial. That said the album is superb, especially So Here We Are and Helicopter.
