I know we can't go out, no pubs are open of restaurants but we'll be doing as we always do, send for a Chinese ,open a bottle of good wine and chill, Mr B normally watches Jules Holland's Hootenanny-and I'm usually tucked up in bed, I can't remember the last time I saw the new year in, probably the Millennium, whatever you'll be doing, I hope it's a good one for all of you, next year has sure to be better :0)

I was quite surprised to see all the shops in a local trading estate still open - in a "Tier 3" area.
