Where did you hear the song in the first place and where did you find this recording. It just seems odd to come across this very muffled sound and think wow that sounds great when theres so much great music around

It was found in a box of cassettes at a random yard-sale in Northern England. I and a few others are looking for it, hence the YouTube video, but so far; the search for the song proved fruitless. The tape was not labelled and only had a hand-written number "4" on it. We think it might be a local band from Northern England, possibly even a rehearsal session or a tape of a live recording, but it does seem well-produced despite the horrendous quality of it. From what I know, the genre(s) could be Reggae Dub, Trip-hop, Hip-hop, Funk, Blues, Jazz...
But it sounds nothing like Lostwave level 8. Think the youtube title is a red herring
