Ok grumpy time. I can’t stand Lorraine Kelly with her squeaky voice, and she just seems so fake to me. So I started watching Morning Live with Gethin and Kym. Gethin is lovely, natural, not in your face. But Kym has started that awful cackling like Alesha Dixon which gets on my nerves. And why are they dressing her like an old granny ( aopologies to all grannies out there, I am one myself and I know we just don’t dress like that but you know what I mean). Is it because the BBC are so scared someone will see her chest? And I don’t mean deep cleavage here like that Holden woman. So I stopped watching that now. Back to good old Judge Judy with my cornflakes. Rant over.

That was the worst dress Kim has ever worn on the programme! She usually looks Ok.

I don’t watch daytime television - apart from politics programmes - but I agree with you about Lorraine Kelly - and Alesha Dixon - and the seemingly ever-present Amanda Holden is like a bad rash. She’s everywhere! Dreadful - the lot of them!

Smurf I agree with you can't stand either of them along with quite a long list of women on daytime TV. That's why I rarely watch it.

Don't watch morning tv then,,,listen to the radio or read a book or write letters. No point in putting on a tv if you really dislike the people on the programmes......Try some of the gazillion other channels that don't require you to pay out extra!!

Naomi.... Kym Marsh was in HearSay (see video), then Corrie, now Morning Live on BBC. I have the TV on while eating breakfast then it goes off while I do more important things. (But is sometimes left on in the background...). By the way Michelle Ackerley on Crimewatch had the same stuffy type of dress on up to her neck as well today. Maybe I should just switch off .....

I guess we all have pet hates/likes of TV "personalities".

The thing which really grates on me is Jimmy Carr's laugh.

IMO he's second only to Sybil Fawlty :-D (like someone machine-gunning seals according to husband Basil).

i don't care for Lorraine Kelly, not my cup of cha at all. Don't really know Kim Marsh, so can't comment on that.

when I saw the title of this post I was hoping it was some sort of gladiatorial fight to the death between the 2 of them, with the plot twist of them both losing
