As you are no doubt aware, on this date 30 years ago we were waking up to the news that Freddie had died. Throughout today, in memory of his brilliance, i will be posting music by Queen. And where better to begin than at the beginning;

They were beyond amazing! Freddie performed his butt off to that crowd and it was something that the whole world had never seen before...
I actually just cried watching that video back. 30 years... I see a long night on Youtube ahead hahahaha xx

It's had that effect on me too :-). Just sad I never got to see him live .

Can't believe it's been 30 years since Freddie's death. I woke up to the news and was so upset. I sent a single red rose for his funeral :o(

I was a Gnats wing away from seeing them live on the 'Magic Tour' but after much debate was deemed too young at fourteen to travel to London with my mates, I was promised I'd be allowed to see them on their next tour :-(
