Mine varies from being an excited little girl to being a teen then a grown up

I saw Mommy kissing Santa Clause and the Christmas Alphabet , loved Dickie Valentine

Then I suppose it was the classics like Jingle Bells and Frosty the Snowman ( the clean versions a-hem )
Now Slade and The Pogues ,it was kinda bittersweet when I was ironing just now ,to hear Slade on the radio and to think it was only two years ago when the dance floor was full as we sang and danced to it :0(

Three way tie between
Driving Home For Christmas by Chris Rea

The obvious classic from The Pogues

and Our First Christmas by Alexander ONeal
Silent Night Holy Night.
Not much good for dancing to though;-)
The Pogues and Kirsty for me too, but I'm also fond of Jona Lewie's Stop The Cavalry and The Pretenders' 2000 Miles.
I believe in Father Christmas, Greg Lake :o)
leona lewis, one more sleep
Chuck Berry - Run Rudolph run
Driving home for Christmas for me as well...

plus, not strictly a christmas song, but troika
Another vote for the Pogues and Kirsty. Also quite like the truth in the lyrics to Greg Lake's 'I Believe In Father Christmas'.
Song - When a child is born
Carol - Silent Night
Anything from Phil Spectors Christmas Album and Josh Groban O' Holy Night.
I like most of the jolly ones, Slade, Wizzard, all the cheesy stuff that you can dance and sing along to - but I can't stand the Pogues - they sound like they've just fallen out of the pub blind drunk - and the twee 'Walking in the Air' doesn't do much for me either.

Oooh Naomi we can’t say blind drunk anymore ( another wokism ,sighhh)
I like the jolly ones too, the floor fillers , my favourite Carol is Sinead O’Connor singing Silent Night
In fairness, I can put up with most things that aren't Mariah Carey or Wham.
A Winter's Tale by David Essex
Christmas Lights by Coldplay

Mozz, Wham is Christmas, I was gutted when I found George was gay 0(

Oh I do like A Winters Tale Margo, he was such a looker wasn’t he?

there's one rather jolly song from 1984 that was once among the most-played christmas songs on the 1980s, that i bet no-one will dare to mention........
I wish...
