5. A Christmas Carol ?

6. Widow *******

6. I'll try again - Widow ******* (don't know why that happened unless it's some kind of censorship as it has a 4-letter word in it but that's her name. T * * * * E Y
Nope - won't let me do it but in case you still haven't got it the middle bit rhymes with bank!

6. Yes,it's widow *******, these PC people are so sick! 4. It was 2001, but it only meant that a single snowflake needed to fall on the Met Office roof. In fact there were only 7 white Christmases in the 20th century! 8. It was the only FA cup tie played on Christmas Day! 2. Princess Alexandra!

Had to come back on this widow twanky business! Have just looked up on google and the sites are full of the word! It is Christmas, and the panto is being performed all over the country, there is a list and the word is used over and over again-after all it is a famous name in panto, and is used in the context it was written for years and years ago. What a sad world, think Answerbank should be more pliable!!
Got it printed barender, what a farce! Merry Christmas!
Just realised barender that I left the 'e' out of *******, has this something to do with it? I think it may be the five letter word that is causing the problem. If so, that is even more sad don't you think?
It is the five letter word. Oh, God, what a mess we live in!!
2. Princess Alexandra (1936)
If i remember right due to the curvature of the earth, if your vision is ok you can see 44miles
