Anyone Remember This?

I recently re-discovered this old song on a TVs "this is 60s show". Its got a odd title The Rain, The Park and Other Things ( alway's thought it was called I Love the Flower Girl).
Anyone remember it?
Anyway just found this Live TV performance on the Ed Sullivan show.... yeah its a bit rawer than the polish'd single version but sounds good to me

Now that I hear it, I know that the song isn't new to me but to say that I 'remember' it probably isn't really true.

I certainly wasn't aware that the group was the inspiration for The Partridge Family

Although its a 60s song I dont remember it from then Buenchico (only a toddler honest).... but for some reason it was played quite abit on local radio for a few weeks in the early 90s, i wrote down the title somewhere then lost it and spent 25 years on and off trying to remember/find the artist/title without realizing it were an old song, until I saw it on the Thats the 60s TV show. I assume local radio played it in the 90s as it seem's it was featured in a 1994 film (Dumber&Dumber?)

You cynic douglas. The vocals , drums and tamborine certainly sound live to me douglas and I have seen loads of bands live and on TV and can usually tell on the few occasions when its not mimed. If you compare this to the actual record its clearly different

I've heard the song before, I think. I'm way too young to know the show it was on. I'm just a wee bairn.
