Have you ever worn odd socks and couldn't be bothered to change them? Put a coat on backwards? Hurt your shoulder trying to adjust your collar neatly? Got you head stuck in a too small sweater? These some of the sartorial consequences of not going out naked;-)

A friend's teacher came back from the toilet, turned to write on the board, and she had her skirt tucked in her knickers, barmaid.  One of the children was kind enough to tell her - and probably took great delight in doing so.  :o)

I've never put a coat on backwards but I have put a few jumpers on back to front.

I once bought an odd pair of shoes. I'd tried on two different pairs, chose the pair I wanted, paid and took them home. When I opened the box they'd put one of each pair in it; I took them back.

I once went out for a coffee with a friend.  When I took my coat off, the friend looked at me for a few seconds and told me that my jumper was inside out.  The coat went back on quite quickly.  However, I once told my daughter that her jumper was inside out to be told that it was the fashion of the moment so perhaps the coat could have stayed off and I could have started the new fashion trend.

Jumpers, t shirts and nightwear back to front,  t shirts and nightwear inside out are a regular occurence for me.

Mr Lottie throws holed socks away but keeps its partner, so often odd socks!  I admit on rare occasions when he's forced to look smarter he will wear matching socks.  I never wear socks.  I hate them.

One day discovered, when I was out, that trousers were on inside out - they were navy and it was not too noticeable!

went to a meeting with odd shoes ,one brown  patent leather and one dark brown leather .also went out  and my elastic broke in my knickers but were only thankfully  held up by the gusset of my trousers x

I once went to work wearing odd shoes - same style different colour. No-one noticed until I pointed it out.

Shopping in town and a lady helpfully pointed out my skirt was on inside out.

I once walked through the public waiting area of a very busy Court with my skirt tucked in my knickers.

I always wear my almonds inside out so the ridges don't rub on my plates.

odd socks regularly

I thought it said - get your head stuck in the loo....

having a puke doubtless - nope always a er clean catch

I once went to work in odd boots. I had two pairs of black boots & managed to put on a boot from each pair!! One had a lower heel & I wondered why I was walking with a limp!!

I remember Spike Milligan as one of his comedy characters (Eccles) being asked "Why is your coat on backwards?", he answered "Someone behind me whistled and I turned around that fast I left it behind!".

Skirts tucked into knickers.  Glad I gave up skirts!

Nightdress  tucked into bum crack when not wearing knickers and walking around house.  Mr Lottie kindly pulls the back down because I haven't noticed!

Had a pupil point out to me one morning that I had on two different earrings! I'd slept in after a late night and rushed out without checking. Jokingly told my class that it was the latest fashion!

bhg481 reminds me of the day my father in law bought some shoes at an outdoor market, on getting home they were two right feet, on taking them back the trader refunded and said it would appear the other two left feet and remaining box was nicked from under the table and the thieves would be disappointed!

Getting dressed in a half light I am often wearing odd socks. Once wore a blue tie with a green shirt, but i had convinced myself all day the shirt was blue

Hairspray under my arms, deodorant on my hair .

I did exactly the sane thing, I had 2 pairs of identical shoes, dark blue and brown, I wass in the morning briefing and the Deputy Head kept nodding towards me and grinning, took me a while to catch on.
