I feel there is good and bad in pretty much every genre (even country - fair enough, it's inflicted Daniel O'Donnell and Billy Ray Cyrus on us, but then again it's also given us Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris, Gram Parsons...). I'd say I'm most likely to like indie, rock (but not metal) and old style soul, and least likely to like heavy metal, hard dance and modern so-called R&B, which has no R and precious little B as far as I can tell. I actually like classical music too, though I prefer orchestral/instrumental classical stuff to opera and tend to avoid anything too avant garde or "difficult".
I guess the only type of music that I really hate is the cheesy manufactured drivel of Westlife and their ilk. Oh, and I can't stand Craig David either. :-)
