My luck must be turning. For the second time this year I have won a prize in a competition.  National Book Tokens have just told me I have won a copy of Benjmain Myers' book Rare Singles. Looking forward to reading this.

Good for you Maggie 😊 I've just had two wins in quiz competitions and a £66 lottery win.  Maybe this is our year?

The office that we share with the doctors at our hospital has a variety of tiny plastic ducks scattered around it that the nurses like attaching to the tops of the computers. However, every weekend most of them go missing and no-one knows who takes them.Yesterday I was at a conference and on one of the stands there was a jar filled with similar ducks with a prize for the person guessing the number within. I took my learned knowledge of little ducks gleaned from our office experience and won a hamper! You never know what may come in useful...
