Cold Outside …

... fire burning brightly ... feet up ... dogs snuggled by me ...and I've done all my Christmas shopping this afternoon with no effort at all.  Good old Amazon!  😋

The cold weather's not too bad, when there's an efficient gas heater doing its stuff, and there's a full bottle of gin waiting! We had to actually go out and do our shopping ourselves today, but, well, there's a shortage of volunteers in our area!

Hygge,i think they call it Naomi.Up here on Royal Deeside it is dinging doon snaw(snowing heavily),however i have one of those bottle gas fires and a cosy wrap around wrap and i am as cosy as a bug in a rug.

I like Amazon.  My neighbour decided on the airfryer, it was cheaper than anywhere else and a pop up appeared - by today for £30 off.  So I did.  It arrived today.  Today the price had been reduced by £40, so I contacted Amazon, asked if I could send it back for a refund and buy another at the new price.

No haggling, £15 refunded.  Always excellent service from them

They are good Barry.  I don't even have to parcel up returns.  Just take them to the post office with the returns bar code I'm given and that's it.

Not a fan of Amazon because I don't like the way they treat their staff and I`d rather go out and shop.  I like this weather though - nice and cold and brisk.  Looking for a good, bracing walk in it tomorrow.

I've got a Log burner in the corner🔥. 🐈Two cats by my side🐈‍⬛. Glass of wine🍷 and cheese biscuits🧈🍪. Who cares if it cold out side. 🌬☃️

Meeting a friend for lunch, and picking up some bits for a birthday for a charity the embroidery group I belong to support.  Nice to help a local charity.

Then hobbycraft tomorrow, and the rest of the weekend marzipanning this years Christmas cakes.  

Busy week next week sorting out mum's finances ( been a delay registering the death as the care home have a stupid system)

Apart from that I will be trying to finish my current batch of craft projects, so I am not tripping over baskets of yarn and embroidery stuff over the next few weeks.

Just a storage heater and an electric fire, I do put the flame effect on but the heater is too expensive to run. It looks cosy anyway.  Can't have a real fire in a tower block,  I miss that.

Like you Naomi, done a lot on Amazon. Just waiting for all the deliveries! Spent a small fortune Xmas is getting sooo expensive & I've got the food to get yet & a family party to cater for.
