Does anyone else find it annoying, that when you take the time and trouble to answer someone's query, that they can't even be bothered to acknowledge your reply.Even if it's not the answer they were looking for a simple 'thanks, but...' would be nice. I'm refering mainly to first time answers here (not threads) where, one answer would suffice and if it's the right answer it may save other people a lot of time & bother in trying to help out and not duplicate answers, or if it's wrong at least it give's someone else a chance to help.
I've put this in 'music' but it would apply to any category really.
Is it just me..or what ?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Whattheheck, I'm glad you bring this up. Gives me a chance to answer on my own behalf and probably on a whole lotta others as well. I discovered The AnswerBank a couple of months ago and instantly loved it, the spirit herein really captures a lot of what we humans are about - we actually like to help each other (when we're not busy killing each other.)
I definitely want to thank those who answer (gary baldy has answered one of my questions, I remember - thanks!), but more often than not I can't sign in. I don't have the internet at home, instead I 'work' from McDonalds or wherever there's a computer blinking alluringly at me, and most of those 'burger computers' are set in a way as to prohibit most operations except surfing and checking your regular mail. Occasionally you do come across one that does permit signing in to The AnswerBank, and then I go wild asking everything I've ever wanted to know about this-or-that but been too-etc. And then, the next time I'm at one of these computers, I can see the replies but I can't give thanks. Except by telepathy. It's very frustrating, I apologize, and I suspect I'm not the only one with this problem.
So give a gal the benefit of the doubt, would ya.
