It was an old skool dance tune from the early 90's and sampled the tv programme blockbusters. It sampled the words

"can i have an 'e' please bob"

the name give us an 'e' rings a bell too.

Cheers

Ebeneezer Goode by The Shamen, I reckon.

Nope deffo not that one!
Blockbusters by Skin Up. It wasn't around for very long as Central TV managed to get an injunction against them (Bob Holness later turned up on a radio documentary saying that he'd actually found the record quite funny and was disappointed that Central TV had it banned). The track was later reissued without the offending "samples" (actually the samples were mocked-up in the first place) under the title "Ivory" and was a minor hit.

jenstar you are a star! I remember it all now! I actually had the 7" single and I remember the "Ivory" label.
I still have the 7". I wasn't aware that it had an injunction out against it. Maybe it's worth a few quid.
I have the 7" as well, and I did have the same thought as you... but it doesn't seem to be worth big money at all, unfortunately.
