I am tring to find one of these toys but i dont know what they are called so i will try and describe them. They are long, ribbed, colourful tubes about a metre long and 1 inch wide made out of plastic. But the really cool thing about these toys is when you spin them round your head they make a high pitched whistling noise that gets higher in pitch when you spin them faster. I think they were popular in the 70's. Does anyone know where i can get one or even what they are called????????

don't know what they were called but try the plastic ribbed type tube of a "hoover" , you'll get the same effect
