It's probably been asked many times before, but what song would you like played at your funeral. You can give a reason if you like. Look forward to the response, cheer

At the moment for me it's a toss-up between How to Disappear Completely by Radiohead and Feeling Yourself Disintegrate by The Flaming Lips. I love both songs and think they are perfect for funerals, and hopeful good enough to make everyone cry. At least i'd be remembered for that.

I'm gonna be complitely horrible here and say if my life don't change I'd have Sentenced - Excuse Me While I Kill Myself (great chorus).

Otherwise, The Ring of Gold by Bathory.

S.

Curtis Mayfield's "(Don't Worry) If There's A Hell Below We're All Gonna Go".
Hey! I've got my whole show sorted out. As my ashes ascend to the stars on a home made rocket, I'll have Richard Strauss's Sunrise from Also Sprach Zarathustra (think 2001) followed by the whole of Yessongs at the after launch party
It's got to be Somewhere in Time by John Barry - such a beautiful piece of music!
'Should I Stay or Should I Go' The Clash, I never could make my mind up!!!
D-Ream's Things Can Only Get Better !!!
...there she goes - the laas.....
Down, Down, Deeper on Down by Status Quo or Going Underground by The Jam?

I'll arrive to the strains of the liquidator by Harry J and the all stars.

During the service its Stairway to Heaven,Led Zeppelin.

On the way out its Let me down easy by The Stranglers.

Estonia by Marillion

A lament, "Flowers of The Forest" played by a lone piper.
As the curtains slowly go round the coffin at the end, I think Bippety Boppety Boo would be good, but I'll probably end up with a traditional hymn. The sound system at our crematorium isn't that good and being a bit of an audiophile, I just know it would irritate me!
I'm Only Sleeping by The Beatles
It's gotta to be Metallica - Fade To Black or Nothing Else Matters
I cant choose one - mine would be like a festival - there are just too many I have no fave song
I've always thought the lyrics to Cast's Walkaway would be very appropriate.

Queen - the show must go on

i want always look on the bright side of life played at mine i dont want my life mourned for i want it celebrated x

i'd probably have something by dreamtheater either 'the answer lies within' or 'octavarium' both songs seem to conclude well and leave people feeling happier than they were at the begining

though a part of me would love to be deadly depressing and have november rain!!

being a Queen fan..would have to be Another One Bites The Dust
