Singles chart sales

Does anybody know what percentage of download sales and cd sales are included in the official top 100 charts.

Last week, out of 1,428,155 singles sold, 1,076,986 were downloads. This is approximately 75% of all single sales.

Downloads have increased in popularity very quickly. In the first chart to include them, in April 2005, 354,620 were sold.

The popularity of Gnarls Barkley's Crazy helped downloads to reach this week's record high. It sold 73,075, a new record.

Although downloads of current songs are popular, the vast majority of downloads are back catalogue.
