Sorry if this question seems a bit morbid, but I'm just curious to know what people,if they had the choice of 2 songs, would choose to be 'sent over to the other side' with.My 2 choices would be the obvious 'Time To Say Goodbye' by Andrea Bocelli + Sarah Brightman, and the not-so-obvious choice of 'Angel' by Chiara, the Maltese Eurovision entry of last year and a fine song to boot.I could imagine popular choices would be Angels by Robbie Williams,or You Raise Me Up by Westlife or Brian Kennedy, for example.

If I were going for tears, I'd have Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye by Ella Fitzgerald and Daniel by Elton John.
If I were going to happy smiles, it would be Waterloo by Abba and Vogue by Madonna. And I would stipulate that everyone in the congregation would have to get up and 'Vogue'.
Pity I wouldn't be there to see it though...
Loopyc, I went for that song too! I was joking the other week that I would like a song that made everybody sob and then the Locomotion or something, where everyone has to do the actions and wouldn't know what to do!
My nan had "Simply the Best" by Tina Turner last year and that was just plaiun weird.
Seriously though, I would let my hubby choose. I think he would make a good choice for me. Providing I go first of course......
I've thought about this lately, and I think I too would go for Monty Python's "Always look on the bright side of life." Apparently it is a big favourite at funerals.
The other one I'd go for would probably be "Im a w****r" by Ivor Biggun and the RedNosed Burglars, just to get people laughing and encourage them to lighten up a bit and not take life so seriously! I can just imagine their faces as it played out (specially if it was in a church!)
NB, for those who don't know the second song it rhymes with AnswerBanker.
