The Echo & the Bunnymen version (the one used in the movie) was great! The Doors version - the original - always seemed a little dull, sorry.

The film soundtrack is well worth getting btw

I love the Doors but echo and the bunnymens version is hardly any different. If you are going to redo something you should take it and make it your own. Not that I am condoning it but that pop idol penis managed to do it with light my fire.
by the way I agree it was not the dooes definitely echo and the bunnymen in the film.
