heeeeeeeeeelp my brother in law recently got broadband but since then his phones dont work can call out but only get static when call ininternet works fine sky works fine .phones dont work at all if everything else is disconected can anyone help??????/

I would speak to BT.

Has he got the phone / adsl adaptor plugged in to the phone socket (I think that's what it's called). It was a two socket adaptor - the phone goes in one socket and the broadband in the other.

(I have cable broadband but my son-in-law was showing me the socket he has)

yes every thing seems to be as i have it just seems to be phones that are the problem now bt were no help at all cos the line is fine
