REO Speedwagon - Keep On Loving You
Starship - Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now
Kate Bush & Peter Gabriel - Don't Give Up
Genesis - Tonight, Tonight, Tonight
Got them :-( I think I've got all the ballads in the world now. Is there a song on an album that is so meaningful and strong that you have to make people listen to it, any suggestions?
There are some songs that are deeply meaningful to me but I don't think I'd actually want anyone to listen to them as they're so personal and I wouldn't want to explain them if that makes sense.
Yer kiss from a rose is a lovely one too. I'm just after about 3 more songs for my CD and i've ran out of ideas. I watched films for inspiration, and I've got them all
Foreigner - I Want to Know What Love Is
St Elmo's Fire - ... err. that bloke... Billy Joel was it?
Power of Love - Huey Lewis and the News
Power of Love - Frankie Goes to Hollywood
Well O'Bonio I have got them too :-( But TEAK 36 I have never heard of your last 2. If they are as good as Angel and Goo Dolls they are going on my CD now. :-) That doesnt mean I dont appreciate all other answers, keep them coming :-)
Living Years - Mike and The Mechanics
Broken Wings - errr.. flippity flip... you know the one..
Drive - The Cars
Take a Look at me Now - Phill Collins... or Genesis
all taken :-( Oh dear Bonio. You're getting the jist of what I like, spot on, I just have them already. Kyrie i think is broken wings and Jon Parr is St Elmos fire.
It's the slowest Primal Scream one I know of... has a special place in my life so it does (ie, coulnd't stop playing it after an ex dumped me... *sigh*).
What about some Marillion? Kayleigh or Lavendar Blue (dilly dilly)?
Hi,4getmenot,It sounds as though you putting together a really top notch CD of ballads, and as it seems as we have a similar taste in music, is there any chance you could post the list of songs you already have decided to put onto disc. There are bound to be some that I have never heard of, and I am in need of some new tunes to listen to.
