Glen Campbell's Galveston, Charlie Daniels', "Still In Saigon", Simon and Garfunkel's gentle "Bridge over Troubled Water", The Animals', "We Gotta Get Out of This Place", Otis Redding's "(Sitting on) The Dock of the Bay," , and, of course, Bob Dylan's "The Times They Are'a Changing", The Door's "Unknown Soldier" are a few among many...

White Rabbit - Jefferson Airplane
Eve of Destruction - Barry McGuire
Imagine - John Lennon

Great songs, surferdude. And, of course, if we mention Arlo G., homage must be paid to Alice's Restaurant (a long piece, but well worth the time). It's a tradition in my family that Thanksgiving (yes, U.S. here) just hasn't started until we sing along to Arlo's adventures with the draft board.
