I have an ipod mini that works just fine not very old, but for about two weeks my computer hasnt been able to see the ipod, it just doesnt show up in itunes or on the desktop, but my ipod says "Do Not Disconnect'. the wire works and everything and it plays music just fine but i want to update it! Any tips?

First idea is to reset your iPod. With it unplugged, hold the middle button and the play/pause button until the apple logo appears (a few seconds). Then try it.

If that doesn't work, run the iPod Restore function in the iPod Updater program. Make sure all your music is still in iTunes though!
