Im lookin to download music and dvd quality films to burn on to disk. there are so many sites about. Im a bit worried about getting a file sharing programme cos i dont wont to download stuff that aint what it says it is. Can anyone help?

If it helps I use LimeWire. Nothing to write home about but adequate. The problem is that downloading what you don't want is a hazzard common to all file sharing problems. You should be ok with the music, though I have had a few dummies, but the films are a different matter - I'd say it was about 60% success rate. Luckily although not what I wanted, usually it's an acceptable one so nothing's wasted. But it's something you should consider whatever file sharing program you use.

don't use Kazaa ... I've used Soulseek for years and never had a 'dud' download.
