have you actually heard it yet or is it the idea of a third Bat Out Of Hell album that you find objectionable?

come on we all know exactly how it will sound have you herd that single.
i myself am not a fan of his music but there is obviously a market for it
if you dont like it-dont listen
I agree Spat. I think the majority of todays music is tat,so I don't listen. Although 'meatloaf,in my opionion are one of the better bands of the last 25 years. I used to listen to his stuff when the lad was at home
mike42 posed a question below about My Chemical Romance
again I am not a fan of this particular group but wouldnt describe their music as "tripe"
it is just not to my taste -- but as they have had several singles, and I presume albums, someone somewhere is buying it. i personally choose to not listen to them or to switch it off

meatloaf I believe is a multi-platinum selling artist so to a large number of people his music is not "tripe" just apparently not everyones cup of tea
I absolutely love meat loaf - I grew up with his music cos my dad was - and still is at 62 - a big fan - he must be doing something right if more than 20 years later he can still do it - like spat says, if you don't like it - don't listen to it...
i saw meatloaf in concert 3 years ago and it was one hell of a show.3 hours of none stop pure magic, with a superb band behind him and excellent vocals from his female counterpart it was brill. absolutely pi$$es on all this pretend rock music thats out these days. if you don't like him mike don't fooking listen to him . simple .
Yes, each to their own - but there's nothing wrong with letting off a bit of steam by having a moan about what you think is crap. And I do hate Meatloaf's stuff, I find it unbearable. I don't know if Jim Steinman still writes for him but I haven't ever heard a Steinman-penned song I've liked. But as has been said, many people out there seem to love overblown melodramatic rock slush.

Many people want music to be predictable and like artists to be relatively unchanging from one album to the next. How else is the continuing success of Oasis explained? That's fine for them and I wouldn't take that away from them, I just don't (and never could) share it.
Fuxxk of mike 42 you tossx
