When is your Birthday?

My birthday is on Dec 24 yes Christmas Eve! I get most of my Birthday presents as Christmas presents as well. Are there any other abers with birthdays at Christmas and do you think you lost out when you were a kid? I always wanted mine in the summer. I expect this has been asked before I'm new so be gentle with me! When are your birthdays?

I am 30 on 20 Dec i am dreading it, your 30 and still not married is what ill get. I used to love my birthday as a child as i was also allowed a chritmas present nowadays im not really bothered about it and everyone is really to busy with christmas

It doesnt bother me as i know ill meet someone. But my mam every year your whatever and your not married. I thought she would shut up when my younger brother give her grandkids, obviously been her first born she must want me to have some.

Mines smack bang in the middle 25th June its great :-) My best mates is Dec 24th so I have the difficulty of thinking what to get her then have to do it all again at xmas

Mines 28th December and my Birthday has always been totally separate from Christmas, I love it at Christmas, especially as a child, just as everybody was getting over Christmas, mine started all over again.

Boxing Day - and its a rubbish day as I get "happy Birthday" squeezed into Christmas cards - as a child I had either 1) A larger pressie (though when I measure twas a lie) or 2) things kept to the side which was excruciatingly frustrating as a child. Now I am older though it doesn't bother me - late teens was rubbish cos no pubs were open.

My son's is on Boxing Day (9 this year bless!). I make great effort to make it separate from Christmas even though it involved offending my mother in law! I take all the Christmas cards down so only birthday cards are up, I refuse to go to any one else house on Boxing Day now (after my mother in law invited us for Boxing Day and and treated the whole day as a Boxing Day event - including forgetting to wish her grandson Happy Birthday). Everone is under strict instructions that presents are wrapped in Birthday paper not Chrismas paper. If anyone wants to combine a Christmas and Birthday present I told them they have to discuss it with him as it's not fair if all his cousins get 'two' presents and he only get's 'one' even if it is of more value - because he's only 8 and doesn't fully understand.
We have a 'half birthday' on June 26th because we found that a lot of his school friends were unavailable on his actual birthday and it does me he gets a few extra pressies mid year - when you're a little boy waiting a whole year is a bit hard!

Happy Birthday for the 24th! ( when my son started school we realised he did not know what his date of birth was because everyone had always said 'His birthday's Boxing Day' he didn't know that was the 26th Decemeber lol)

My birthday always falls on the Whitsun Bank Hols (so its guaranteed to be peeing down with rain). 28th May. Always have a fab time though and love any kind of celebrations especially birthdays - doesn't matter how old you are.

Mine is on 9th December and one of my sisters and nephews are on boxing day. Mine has always been fine, i dont think it's its close enough to be linked with xmas itself but I always feel a bit sorry for sis and nephew, especially him because he's only little but everyone just seems to tired and harrased to do anything on boxing day. I always feel a bit sorry for my Dad too, having to buy all those bday presents in one month and then xmas gifts for 6 other children and 5 grandchildren. poor man, no wonder he is grey.
