This has to be the worst year for advertising the worst cds on the market.How many people out there have opted to buy these Granny/Mummy presents?..Would be interesting to know what people think of them

If I were to buy any of them, it would be Katherine Jenkins. Not for the music mind, just to look at her.

Christmas is the time for this kind of stuff. As long as they prevent any garbage like Crazy frog being number one then good luck to em'!
When was the last time there was a Christmas number one that actually had something to do with christmas in it?

The problem here is not the CDs themselves - more the intrusive way they are marketed. There is nothing worse (sorry I forgot about Barry Scott!! :) )
than having music that you don't like continually played. I personally don't like snatches of songs. quite alot of the ads are by stores trying to sell their bulk purchase of one title.
There is someone who likes these artists and probably don't like your favs.
Mionsters of rock -- Just gets going then it's gone.

Who decides what music Mum's like and why are we all lumped together as potential victims of this rubbish?
No one would dare buy this mum any one of these obnoxious CD's!
Now the ghastly Cliff with the equally ghastly Daniel O thingy is being touted and targeted at us. Sorry, but no thank you very much!
