How can I convert mp3 files to midi files ?

You cant. Midi works on a number of channels, each channel playing a different instrument (sound). Mp3 is basically a recording of sound. So for example a midi file can be split into its parts so you just hear the trumpet or piano but Mp3 is all the sounds together you cant split it into its constitue parts. You could do the reverse i.e. Midi into Mp3 using something like sound recorder.

I belive you can convert mp3 to midi but the resultant file is pants. search on download.com for mp3 to midi
