Bonnie Tyler's Voice

Just saw her on This Morning, and her "gravelly" voice seems a bit forced and OTT now. Does anyone know if she puts it on? Her actual singing voice sounded lovely, but every now and again she sounded like she wretching, and about to bring up a hair ball or something!! I'm sure it never used to be this extreme!

Totally agree.She's always sounded "gravelly" as far as I can remember and I don't think its put on because her speaking voice is similar. She must be knocking on a bit now age wise so you would think the voice would start to go like all the other bits do.

She was on Never Mind the ********* a couple of weeks ago - drunk as a skunk, couldn't hold a note and her voice was very gravelly.
