Hi, There:

The song you asked about is :

In My Life by John Lennon & Paul McCartney (The Beatles)

The lyrics are:
Beatles, The
Rubber Soul (1965)
In my life

There are places I'll remember all my life
Though some have changed
Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remain

All these places had their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I've loved them all

But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these mem'ries lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new

Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I'll love you more

Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I'll love you more
In my life I'll love you more

Some trivia about the song:

1. It was the Theme Song for the USA TV Series: "Providence"

2. In 2001, over 100 of the most successful and influential songwriters of the latter 20th Century were asked what was the best song written. They overwhelmingly chose In My Life, which was primarily written by John Lennon.

Thanks justalady, You really know your stuff! Im wondering where I got "And that's for sure" from:-~. Yeah, it was one of my favourites as well donegal and paddywak. It came to my mind about 2 days ago and I've been humming it since. Aw 1965, I was only 17 then ( I think),get's the calculator out!
on the music site there was a post about romantic songs & the response was fantastic the only trouble is once you start thinking about there's always one that gets stuck in your mind & you just can't get rid of it
