does anyone know what the name of a new song is called, the lyrics go something like, "i could have been a contender..." and then i think something about a "rat-race" is mentionned. the song is quite popular and recent, with a young male singer,but im just not sure of the artist or title. can anyone help me out please?

i think the original is by the specials called rat race from the 80`s.
there maybe an updated version of it now,but do not know the artist
