they say the love of money is the root of all evil.
but do you think that is true.
on another thread someone commented that hes got money ,and that helps.
do you think that money makes a difference when looking for a partner or prospective partner?
do you think that the fact you have money influences peoples opinion of you?
and if so do you think if you suddenly had no money that their opinion would stay the same or chage?
has money evr helped you to get someone that you know deep inside if you were poor theyd never have looked at you .
an example i guess was diana, she was a aldy then aprincess.
diodi was her rich lover but major james hewitt was just a bit on the side for fun.

Of COURSE money makes a difference to everything you do (if you have it), but people perceive those who're fortunate enough to have a good lifestyle, with disdain, jealousy - or awe. I was born into a good family, and can't moan about hardship. The thing that brought me down to earth was in having a disabled child. No amount of money can make him better, but it can make things easier materially, and I'm grateful for that. I've had people ask if I would've married for love instead of money - which's an insult, since I love my husband, whatever. It just so happens that he was within a circle of friends who were also financially secure, but I have other friends who have nothing, and I certainly don't look down on them.
