Modern indie song making reference to character of Major Tom?

A song I've heard on Radio 1 recently sounds really catchy and as though it's by a modern male "indie" singer (perhaps in the same vein as Jack Penate/Paulo Nutini) and it talks about "having a conversation with Major Tom" or something like that... Does anyone know who it's by or what the song's called?

You know what, I think it is! Except it's not the original by Bowie...otherwise I would have recognised it. It's definitely a modern cover of it...
