As previous responses confirm, the title of the song is "Classic", written by Adrian Gurvitz who enjoyed brief fame as a "progresive rock" musician when he joined his brother, and ex-Cream drummer Ginger Baker in the short-lived 'Baker-Gurvitz Army'.
Mr Gurvitz was universally derided for his rather over-wrought ballad - not least because he rhymed "attic", "classic" and "addict" in the first three lines. Doubtless if you mentioned such thoughts to Mr Gurvitz, who enjoyed a major top three single in most of the English-speaking world, he would echo the words of Whigfield when a journalist advised her that 'Saturday Night' was pop pap - "Speak to my bank account!" was her response. Says it all really.
