transfer from vinyl to computer
I have recently purchased a package comprising software and leads to transfer music from my record player to my computer. This involves a lead from the headphone socket to the line in socket of my computer. It works well except for a constant hum. It appears to be picking up the hum from other equipment in the room as when i connect the lead to the headphone socket on my DAB radio the hum dissapears.
Does anyone know of a simple supressor that may solve this problem or have any other suggestions

I'd forgotten how vinyl I'd actually got as it ain't seen the light of day for yonks. You can record them to mp3 format and then burn 'em to disc, or if you've got your hi-fi rigged up to the computer just play and enjoy.
